Care requirements for Blue Diamond Shrimp are very similar to those of Sakura Red Cherry Shrimp. When kept in clean, stable water within the recommended parameters, they thrive and reproduce readily, forming a striking and active colony. Like all dwarf shrimp, a group of Blue Diamond Shrimp serves as an excellent cleaning crew, consuming algae, biofilm, and leftover food, helping to maintain a healthy and balanced aquarium.

These shrimp have a peaceful temperament and are completely safe with all non-aggressive tankmates and aquatic plants. Hardy and adaptable, they are perfect for both beginners and experienced keepers. For best results, maintain zero ammonia and nitrite, keep nitrate levels low, and provide plenty of live plants or hiding spaces. In warmer climates, a cooling system is recommended to keep them comfortable year-round.
